Natalie Roadknight has just been awarded the 2018 RSPCA Australia Scholarship for Humane Animal Production Research - great job Natalie - she is working to improve the welfare of dairy calves and has just given a presentation at Ireland's National Dairy Conference.
Congratulations to Leigh Atkinson for winning 2nd overall prize for 1st year students at the Meat and Livestock Post-Graduate Conference. Leigh's PhD program is researching early life stressors in sheep.
Carolina Muñoz was recently awarded third prize for her presentation at the International Society for Applied Ethology Conference in Valdivia, Chile. Carolina is undertaking a PhD looking at assessing and addressing on-farm sheep welfare.
